Many of my readers are in the United States, and if you aren’t a desert monastic living in a cave, you probably know it’s Election Day during a contentious election year. I didn’t know how much this election has weighed on me until the surge of relief I felt when I dropped my ballot into the ballot box this weekend.

I voted!

But dropping off my ballot is not the end. Now, it’s time to pray, and to be a peaceful presence to everyone around me. I’m going to suggest that you do the same.

I’ve compiled a list of blog posts and articles I’ve written that address elections, political activism, and making change. If you’re looking for something to read because you are anxious, are in too many social media arguments, politically homeless, or want ideas for making change, I’ve listed some links below for you.

Seek peace, stay safe, and love your neighbor.
